Hi all, If like us, you've found yourself reading reviews to either reassure yourselves or make a booking then please read on! Just to start, we are booking to come back next year and we NEVER visit the same place twice. All the staff made us feel very welcome and had time for a chat, so lovely. We had problems with our return flights and one gentleman spent hours trying to help me, bless him. If we had to pick fault we would say the kitchen units are dated and could do with at least the doors and draw fronts replacing but this is being picky. We are going back every year we loved it so much. Dining room, lounge, bar and patio all in good clean condition. Pools were clean and beautiful, we looked in the saunavandcchanging rooms all looks really good. Everything was dealt with straight away, just things that can happen at any time and impossible to predict. Could not ask for better staff or customer care. The loo seat came adrift and was replaced immediately and the fridge seal went, new fridge installed within an hour. I asked for extra pillows and they appeared while we were out, rooms were cleaned daily by a lovely polite lady. Everywhere was clean and tidy, beds we’re comfortable (I was concerned as I have disabilities) bedding all lovely and clean. There was three of us travelling (2 adults and a teen) girls break. Room was spacious with bedroom and bathroom. It just needs a little TLC.Īrrived just after midnight due to delayed flight and was met by a lovely polite man who was expecting us, he showed us up to our room and opened the mini shop so we could get milk for a drink. This hotel has loads of potential and if it was properly cared for or redecorated from time to time they could definitely charge more. All in all, the hotel was nice, the staff friendly and helpful, it was everything we needed for the price we paid. The outdoor pool had been drained on our first few days there, again probably because Cyprus isn’t in season and for those who live in Cyprus it wouldn’t have been warm enough, however for us visiting from Scotland it would have been fine. The indoor pool and Jacuzzi was perfectly relaxing and clean, the best part of the hotel.
However whenever we needed a late night snack or some juice we could get that no problem.
The mini market at the entrance of the shop is open late, although there wasn’t much to choose from, I would imagine it’s because of the time of year and Cyprus isn’t in season so there wasn’t much foot traffic or guests. The dinner menu offers 3 different types of main courses each night, a variety of starters and deserts and although we didn’t eat here at night, the food did smell great and what we did have was lovely. We ate in the hotel twice during the day, the lunch/snacks menu is extensive and well priced. The hotel was basic but clean and served us well for the week. We stayed here over the new year and can say before we arrived we were apprehensive due to the previous reviews of the place.
